Pulling a hook out of a finger using braid
Well, the title pretty much says it all. We were fishing the KBF National Championship on Kentucky Lake and a fellow competitor let a treble hook get the best of him. It was pretty deep, but had to come out. So, we did the now famous, Kevin VanDam trick, and used some braid to pull it out. So to answer the questions...1. Yes. It worked like a charm. 2. Surprisingly, the angler said it didn't hurt at all when it was yanked out. 3. Yes, I was the one with the potty mouth and the "yanker" or as I prefer to call myself, the Lakeside Emergency Services Technician.
